We still haven't had anything that surpasses something like Toy Story, and that was 12 years ago. I know we have effects like bloom and various types of mapping, but can you honestly say you've seen something that looked outright better in all ways than Toy Story?Anyway, that point aside, we're still probably two or three hardware/software generations away from seeing anything like that. By generations....an easy way to define this would just be to simplify to console gaming systems. We're also hitting the point that it's more a limitation of the artists designing the games than just the hardware capabilities.
