Anyone else Dissapointed?

Not really just with any specific system, but with games in general. I remember i used to play through my games again and again and again, games like Devil May Cry, Max Payne, the firs God of War. and many others. now it seems that when i get a gae, i only play through it once, i havnt even finished god of war 2 cuz i just got bored. Anyone know if anything might happen in the future to cure this massboredom of games?Anyone else Dissapointed?
I dont know but I always get bored because games drag on too long, why I like shorter games.Anyone else Dissapointed?
I dont know but I always get bored because games drag on too long, why I like shorter games.
I agree about games being too long. I lose interst after a little over 10 hours. I'd rather have a fun 8 hour game that I play through multiple times (like the Ratchet and Clanks) than some 40-60 hour epic.
Long games dont botherme as long as they are good, i played through final fantasy 10 and 8 each about 3 or 4 times
I very rarely play through games repeatedly. In fact I don't think I can give an example other than Gears of War, only because it's short and my friends enjoy playing it on co-op. What systems do you have? There are a few PC games that I could see myself playing through again, such as Half-Life 2, F.E.A.R., and Quake 4.
Take a break, pursue other interests, put things in perspective. When you feel compelled to play a game again, then you'll most probably enjoy it. If you never feel compelled to pick up another game then perhaps you should do better things with your time instead of forcing yourself to play games.
I got Ps3 and a PC PC i just play SupCom and Counter strike games and mods, like half life 2 and insurgency is AWESOME but not too many games out for PS3 yet

That's too short in my opinion. I don't want to use 50 euros to get 10 hours of fun (except if the game is really good). That's why I like MMO's so much. They have the best value, 13 euros a month and you get even more stuff to do than you have time for.I don't play games over and over again anymore, because I have more money than before. That means more new gaming experiences for me. I rather use my time playing a new game and gaining new experiences than doing the same old things again. And with every new game, our taste for games gets better. Before we were happy with one mediocre games, but over time we want better and more games. If you try to play a game you loved as a kid, you can't understand why you liked it before.

It's called ''getting used to it''. It's natural. The same way you need to drink more and more coffee to get your fix, games are just like that. A long time ago, Doom was exciting, 3D, realistic. But now, you have to play Far Cry to get that same awe.You are simply used to gaming.

MMOs are something that you play up to couple years, and during that time you play other shorter games too. Or at least that's how it's for me. It's a bit different for my WoW addict friends :D Well... at least they save money.
