Gamespots adverts trustable?

Ok I noticed gamespot have been overcrowded with advertise ments lately, but some of the offers are for stuff like free halo 3 and xbox 360 elites, are those adverts valid seeing that hos gamespot is a trusted site.Gamespots adverts trustable?
