I know when people want to see how much money a game has made they obviously look at the sales. But do those sales include blockbuster? Gamefly? The places that rent the game? How much money do the devs earn to let these places rent their game? Making more money than it seems?

I have no idea at all how much they make off places like that. But I presume that they sell the game to the rental place for a higher price and allow them to rent them out.
