A question at all who love RPGs....

Millions of people love RPGs for the fact that you have the able to make your character more powerful by training it, and the more power you get, the more power you want and it becomes extremely addictive. You love to see your character develop and you get a rush when you compete against others. But guys you can do this in the real word aswell, I love to bodybuild, as my character gets more powerful in the game i get more powerful in real life; my bench press goes up, my chest back and arms get bigger, my bodyfat gets lower, and it helps with the ladys, right now im 5 10'' 181 12% bodyfatwith a 275 bench press and its great because every day i know im getting better and stronger(just like in the game) alot of people believe that you need to be in a gym every day to get big and thats not true, even 1 hour a week can reek massive beneifts, even if you dont have gym access pushups and situps can you you wonders as long as you stick with them. i just thought about how helpful you guys have been to me on this forum, and im about to become a certifed person trainer so i thought i could return the helpful you guys gave me by giving you this information. Thanks again for all the help guys, i really hope you listen to what i said you could really get the beniefts. so go ahead guys ''level up'' in real life to ; )A question at all who love RPGs....
wtf is this?A question at all who love RPGs....
Sounds to me like somebody is trying to make a ''clever'' attempt at another ''To all those who play MMOs...get a life!!1!!11!!11one!11!''Seriously, not all people who love RPGs play it to gain more power. Some (like me) play the games for an engrossing storyline, some play for the social aspect of the game (especially true for PnP RPGs), others just want to try an alternate life that is different from their current life (come on...how many acid breathing dragons or cybernetic space vampires do you run into every day?), and still others just want something that'll occupy their time and is more interactive than watching TV.Of course, the same argument could be made for any genre...so why pick on just RPGs?
I personaly play RPGs specificaly for the storyline. If a storyline in a game isn't good it tends to get put on a shelf until I feel like playing it again. MMO RPGs aren't as good as an SP RPG in my opinion. As to those people who don't get out and enjoy real life, well that's their choice and people really just need to deal with the fact that that's what they choose to do. Besides with fewer guys (or girls) out there in the real world that just means more women for those of us who do take the time to enjoy it.
I play RPGs because working out isn't really fun... it's more like... work (hence the term). Stop telling video game players get stop playing games and get lives before I start telling you to stop telling gamers to get lives and get a life.
AHHH! The gyms have hired stealth advertisers to infiltrate gaming forums, WE'RE DOOMED! Soon we'll be getting spammed about the incredible all-in-one workout bowflex and the latest dieting crazes!RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
