Has there been a non-fighting or beat em up game with a black player character.

...that has had a positive and/or non caricaturial image? I'm not trying to race bait or anything, but I'm drawing a blank here, or I haven't played enough games. Has there been a non-fighting or beat em up game with a black player character.
There's Cochese from The Warriors... he was black but dressed up like a native american... as for positive....? he could positively kick some assHas there been a non-fighting or beat em up game with a black player character.
Theres a few, im sure like Unreal II's protagonist.
Yeah...I forgot all about the guy from Unreal II...probably because I was too bored with the game to care who ANYBODY was.
Deus Ex. Even though you can choose your skin color, but since your brother in the game is black...
most rpgs will let you choose skin color or a darker-skinned race
Well, let me rephrase that the PC can't be a cookie cutter character generation. He/She has to be unique.
No
Kiros - Final Fantasy VIII

Hauser - Suikoden II

The guy from Shadow-something...damn, drawing a blank.

Sanity: Aiken's ArtifactAnd while not a playable character, Colonel Irving Lambert from the Splinter Cell series fits the criteria.
I can't think of any where them being black isn't their main character trait. Even a poorly translated Japanese game like Final Fantasy 7 got all the black stereotypes covered with Barrett. I really thought it would change more after San Andreas since the developers would realize players can relate just as well to a black protagonist, but it sure hasn't.
Cole Train taking on the COG all by himself and representing his squad TOOT! TOOT!
Duran from Starcraft... though he is shady. Then Garcian from Killer7... he's also shady!Um...Blame Blizzard!
