What videogame genre do you think has been copied too many times???

Alot of the world war 2 games are copied over and over again and zelda wannabe games.... What games do you think have been copied so many times???What videogame genre do you think has been copied too many times???
I don't think they ''copy'' other games, there's just one game that spawned a genre. What videogame genre do you think has been copied too many times???
I'd have to agree. I've seen too many attempts at WW2 games. Call of Duty has the right idea going on to modern warfare... but even that is getting tapped out with GRAW. Fantasy shooting games like Gears and Halo always will have the upper hand with creativity (although Halo is looking more and more reguritated).
FPS games in general...

Reminds me of the 16bit days where every other games was either a final fight or street fighter clone
So many RPG's.
Waaay too many JRPG's, I've always hated them, but they won't stop :P
FPS games
rpgs like gta. GTA did it right and no1 else really else been able to do it like they did
FPS. FPS and RTS. These are the only games that come out with good graphics and such for PC. It's also the reason why I bought consoles. If there were more RPGs and Adventure/Action games, then I would have never bought consoles. The rare RPG or A/A game for PC, the graphics suck, or the sound quality is horrible, or theres some definite reason not to buy it.
So many RPG's.
But i love rpgs....Who here didn't think that Star Wars kotor was awesome?? Who didn't like oblivion??Maybe u guys play the stupid rpgs...
Ever since Halo everybody has been trying to make a killer sci-fi FPS. So far nothing has come close.

FPS games in general...
They're getting old.
I don't think so. I think FPSs can constanly evolve to be better which makes them worth playing. Once in awhile, a game like Bioshock comes around. But a game like Crysis, for example, is just the hugely evolved version of the modern shooter at its best. So it never feels old or boring because it's a whole new experience even though it's familiar.

But that could change...
