I have this one friend who hasn't been to school since he graduated from High School (04) and hasn't had a job in his entire life and ALL he does is play video games. All day, or pretends he knows how to use a staff/sword/nunchucks and thinks FF7 is the best video game ever made and his room is covered in Cloud (FF7) posters and stuff. He doesn't want to work at any place that he feels is ''below him'' such as fast food places and stuff, even though he has no working experience to claim he deserves something better. So, I have a job, girlfriend, I've been going to college and I play video games too, and I'm relatively good, but no matter WHAT game it is, I can NEVER beat him, even when in Wii games when he never played a Wii, he'd beat me. In Halo, in party games, in fighting games, puzzle, everything. He claims to be the 4th best SSBM Player in California from some contest or something. So usually, when me and my friends are playing any game, we would always try to eliminate him first, yet he still wins and he gloats about it. It killed my competitive side of me and I only play for fun. (not like any one of us would win anyways) Now that he has a Wii too, I know my chances in beating him in Brawl is 0% or any other competive game. But, I'm winning at life. At least I'm going somewhere. But still! Once I beat him at something, I'll tell him to make me a sandwich and get a job, cuz he failed at a game too. I have a friend I could NEVER beat at any video game

I think this would be better as a blog post. There is no discussion that can occur.
I could probable pwn him at Halo 2 :)
Give him a broken controller, and see how he reacts when he loses o.o
whatever you do dont stop playing him cause hes better than you.i hate when kids do that
I won't stop playing the guy, but I won't make a grand effort to win or anything. I wanted to see if there was someone out there with a smiliar experience as me.

[/QUOTE] Give me this guys gamertag, I'll own him at damn near any 360 game online that I have. (Halo 2, Gears of War, Call of Duty 2 (3), Rainbow Six: Vegas, G.R.A.W. 2) whatever floats his boat.
I think we all have a friend kind of like this (unless of course you are that friend). The guy that no matter what you're playing will kick your ass, even if he's never touched the game before. That was my old college roommate. The guy was just strangely gifted when it came to games. We'd play a lot of games together, but mainly Quake CTF and Street Fighter Alpha together. In Quake I couldn't even pretend to be competitive with him, and in SFA the only time I'd beat him was if he was using the broken joystick (even then it was only a 50-50 chance). Later on we moved away so we didn't play each other much, but eventually started playing EverQuest together and once again he was better than me. In the time it took me to get to level 20 he was around 35. It was never a lot of fun to lose to him, but as long as we had fun playing together I didn't care too much. He wasn't like your friend though. He had a life and isa pretty success electrical engineer right now, and has done pretty well for himself. Point is, sometimes people just naturally excel at certain things so don't hold it against him. If he's your friend though, don't feel pride that you're doing better at him in life though. At some point he'll snap to and realize that he's chosen a rather pathetic road in life and hopefully will figure it out.
No offence. But your friend sounds like a loser.
why should he get a job if he just got a wii? i mean, you get money from a job, and if he doesnt need money why get it then? o.Ook maybe the education part is a bit wierd..but you havent explained why he didnt chose an education! :Pand no, i dont share experince when it comes to insane players of teh games. my friends pwn me in almost every single FPS there is, and i.. well am equally as ''skilled'' as them when it comes to stragical games..
Well, maybe he should become a professional gamer.
Does this guy live with his parents or something, because I see no other way of supporting himself if he doesn't have a job, yet can still buy new games.
